Seaside Residences to Open in San Diego

Architect Douglas Austin heads AVRP Studios, a design firm in San Diego, California. Credited with assisting the renewal of downtown San Diego, Douglas Austin has announced plans to construct a residential project at 802 S. Pacific Street.

Situated on a 10,000-square-foot parcel in Oceanside near a train station, the building will feature 10 condominiums and three hotel suites. The condos will range in size from 1,280 to 1,850 square feet, with four townhomes and six flats. The plentiful use of decks and glass walls will provide ocean views for all residents in an indoor/outdoor environment. The hotel units, each encompassing 850 square feet, will enable owners to offset the cost of their condos with rental income. Guests could stay a maximum of 1 month.

Asking prices for the condos are expected to range from $1.2 to $4 million. All the building’s energy will come from solar panels. Construction is scheduled for the first half of 2023 and should be finished in 18 months.
